I managed to watch this video early this morning which happens to be my bench day as well. helped me a fair bit in setting up correctly and I believe the key in the setup is not just the legs but also the underhand grip portion where you push the lats into the bench.
well, it helped me anyways.
thanks Dave.

As far as leg position, is there a way to tell which leg position is more beneficial for the lifter? I learned to be on my toes and arched, but was never told why.

Was also wondering about leg positions, couldn’t fully understand what Dave was saying at the moment, does it depend on limb torso ratio.

I feel like with the toes and arched position u get an extra bit of height compared the the feet flat setup. Hips can rotate more that way than the other. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how it feels when I started setting up that way.
