Thanks for helping these deserving athletes and being a great role model.  In our community too many people use the intellectually disabled as a punch line without stopping to think about the weight of their words.  You know doubt made a difference in the lives of many Special Olympians not simply through the direct effect of your actions, but by the indirect effect your actions had/will have in changing some of those who read this.    Thanks.

I completely get what you&#039;re saying about sometimes we are the ones who should be mocked. The more I worked with Hanna, the less tolerance I had for &quot;normal&quot; people. She had a great meet, winning silver in the bench and deadlift single lift part and gold for her total.</description>

My first meet was in May and there were 2 atheletes from the S.O.doing the meet as well.  It was awesome to see these guys lift, you could really see their love of the sport.
