Feeling Weak and Overtraining

Everything has been feeling super heavy these days and it sucks pretty bad. Hopefully this doesn’t last much longer. I think my CNS is trying to adjust since I have been squatting lately. I don’t know exactly, but I do know this has to stop soon. Other than 135 pounds feeling like 315 – I feel great. Knee is doing well and shoulders are getting better. Onto whatever the heck I did over the weekend…

Saturday

Box squat – felt like the box had super glue on it, so you can imagine how slow I was….WEAK!

Deadlift - with the awful big bar that doesn’t flex at all.My form suffered…..

  • 275 for few sets, doesn’t matter it was terrible

Weighted incline sit-ups

  • 30 min of cardio

Sunday

Incline press – football bar, warmed up to heavy triple for 2 hard sets

  • 175 x 2 x 3
  • drop set
  • 95 x 35

Single arm DB shoulder press

  • 20 x 15
  • 30 x 2 x 15

Bent rows

  • 135 x 4 x 8

Tricep pushdowns

  • 90 x 4 x 10

Seated machine abs

  • 4 sets

20 minutes interval cardio

Monday

Sled

  • 2 plates 16 trips no rest

Foam roll
Stretching

Tuesday

45 minutes interval cardio

Wednesday

Shoulder is bothering a little from the inclines Sunday…so I played it smart and went extra light.
Flat bench DB

  • 15 x 50
  • 20 x 50
  • 25 x 50
  • 30 x 50

DB floor press

  • 40 x 4 x 15

Bamboo bar bench press

  • 4 sets

100 band tricep extensions


45 minutes of cardio

That was exhausting! Now I know why everything feels heavy, I overtrain…
